Dr. Kotaska received his MD from U.B.C. in 1992 and worked as a GP-surgeon in northern British Columbia before returning to complete a residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 2006. He is now a generalist obstetrician & gynecologist and currently the Clinical Director of Obstetrics at Stanton Territorial Hospital in Yellowknife, where he lives with his wife and two sons.
My research interests focus on:
- The external validity of evidence in obstetrical practice
- Breech birth
- The effects of obstetrical analgesia on labour
- The estimation of risk in obstetrics
