Before you start the program, you will be sent the contact details of your Faculty Advisor, chosen with your research and practice-related interests in mind.

Your Advisor will take on a mentorship role throughout your program, and be available to help you with things like deciding which courses to take, what practicum opportunities might best suit your interests, and general information about the School and public health. Advisors are also able to introduce you to public health professionals and faculty who can provide insight into various areas within public health.

It’s a great idea to introduce yourself to your Advisor in the first term, to get started with your planning, and to continue meeting the Advisor once a term.
