SPPH student wins medical decision-making prize

SPPH student Logan Trenaman won the Lee B. Lusted Student Prize at the Society for Medical Decision Making (SMDM) conference, held in Baltimore USA, on October 19-23.

The Lee B. Lusted Student Prize is a prestigious award that “recognizes students’ original research in medical decision making in order to attract the best and brightest young minds to SMDM”.

Logan won the award for “A Systematic Review of The Influence of Patient Decision Aids on Cost, Health Outcomes, and Cost-Effectiveness”, which he co-authored with Drs. Stirling Bryan and Nick Bansback.
