Short Courses

MSc OEH students are required to complete two short courses throughout their program. This includes completing a short chemical safety course as well as another, which can be selected from the list below:

  •   Reducing Mental Health Stigma
  •   Hazardous Waste Management
  •   Knowledge Translation and Mobilization
  •   Musculoskeletal Disorders (MSDs): Awareness
  •   Business Case for Health and Safety
  •   Graduate Instructional Skills Workshop
  •   Floor Warden Training Course
  •   Fall Protection Authorized Person
  •   Workplace Violence Prevention Course
  •   TCPS 2 CORE
  •   General Audience Workplace Hazardous Materials Information System
  •   Transportation of Dangerous Goods by Ground and Air
  •   Preventing and Addressing Workplace Bullying and Harassment
  •   Introduction to Laser Safety
  •   Foundations of Project Management

Note: Students can select other short courses but are advised to ask program coordinators before enrollment. After course completion, students must send certificates to the program coordinator.
