Celebrating UBC SPPH Spring 2024 Graduates

May 24, 2024 |

The School of Population and Public Health extends heartfelt congratulations to the 43 spring graduates who have successfully completed their degrees from the University of British Columbia! We’re incredibly proud of their accomplishments and the resilience they have shown to reach this milestone.

On May 22, our graduates attended the UBC convocation, followed by a reception hosted by the School to honour their achievements. This celebration brought together peers, faculty, friends and family to recognize this academic milestone.

At the reception, SPPH Director Dr. Aslam Anis, MSc OEH Program Director Dr. Chris McLeod, and MPH Program Director Dr. Paul Kershaw shared inspiring words with the graduates, setting the tone for an afternoon with joy, love and a profound sense of pride.

Dr. Aslam Anis, Director of SPPH, remarked, “The hard work and dedication you have displayed are highly sought after in the field of public health. We know that your future successes will be nothing short of extraordinary.”
