The School of Population and Public Health extends a heartfelt congratulations to our fall graduates on the completion of their degree from the University of British Columbia! We’re so proud of all they have accomplished and how much they have overcome to reach graduation day.
Last week, the SPPH Fall Graduation Reception provided a joyous occasion to honour our graduates, where peers, faculty, friends and family came together to celebrate their achievements. At the event, SPPH Director Aslam Anis and MHA Program Director Nick Bansback shared some words with the graduates at the podium, setting the tone for an afternoon with joy, love and a profound sense of pride.

A noteworthy highlight of this graduation season is the record-breaking Master of Health Administration (MHA) graduation cohort, including 36 graduates in November and 2 graduates in May this year, totaling 38 students.
Dr. Aslam Anis, Director of SPPH, expressed his hopes for the graduates, saying, “No matter what path you take in your public health career, I hope that this academic milestone can be a source of pride, strength and confidence in your future endeavours.”
