Dr. Murphy joins the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer’s advisory group

This September, Dr. Rachel Murphy joins the Population Health Advisory Group with the Canadian Partnership Against Cancer. The Partnership implements Canada’s cancer control strategy to improve cancer control across the nation. Dr. Murphy was selected after a robust pan-Canadian competition, which included applicants from almost all provinces.

As part of the advisory group, Dr. Murphy will shape strategies to ensure cancer screening and prevention programs and policies are adopted across Canada. She will also help maximize the impact of current and future cancer prevention and screening initiatives.
