Martin Guhn Appointed: Interim Director, HELP

Dear colleagues,

I am pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Martin Guhn as Interim Director, Human Early Learning Partnership (HELP) effective to June 30, 2021.

Dr. Martin Guhn

Dr. Martin Guhn is an assistant professor in the School of Population and Public Health and a member of the Canadian Council on the Social Determinants of Health. His current research focuses on social, cultural, demographic, and socio-economic determinants of children’s and adolescents’ developmental health, wellbeing, and educational trajectories.

In his role as Interim Director, Dr. Guhn will provide leadership and foster excellence in research and education in early child development, while advancing the translation of new knowledge to influence policies, practices, and programs for children and families.

Dr. Guhn’s appointment follows the leadership of Dr. Kim Schonert-Reichl. I would like to sincerely thank Dr. Schonert-Reichl for her dedicated leadership and contributions to the Faculty over the past six years.
