Congratulations to Evan Hall, second-year Master of Public Health student, on receiving the Dr. Anne Crichton Award for Publication!

The annual award recognizes a trainee (student, resident or post-doc) in the School of Population and Public Health who has published or presented the most impactful scholarly work in the previous 12 months on a topic related to health services and systems.
Evan received the award for the publication titled “Disruptions to HIV services due to the COVID pandemic in the USA: a state-level stakeholder perspective.” This research looked at how the COVID-19 pandemic disrupted HIV prevention and care services across the United States. Drawing on interviews with 33 key stakeholders, the team—led by Evan—identified major service gaps and challenges. Their findings informed practical recommendations for how health departments can strengthen HIV service delivery during future public health emergencies.
The School also extends congratulations to all the students who applied for the Dr. Anne Crichton Award for Publication this year. Their submissions reflect the depth and diversity of scholarly work being done by our trainees in health services and systems research.
