As we close out 2025 and approach the winter break, we extend our sincere thanks to the School of Population and Public Health community. This year brought both challenges and accomplishments that strengthened our shared commitment to advancing public health through education, research, and community engagement.
We are proud to celebrate our students, including 142 graduates in spring and fall 2025, whose achievements reflect the strength of our programs and the dedication of our faculty and staff. We are confident they will make meaningful contributions to a healthier and more equitable world.
Throughout the year, faculty and staff excelled across teaching, research, service, and mentorship, with many receiving recognition for their exceptional contributions. These efforts continue to elevate the School and inspire our broader community.
Key milestones in 2025 included the completion of the School’s External Review, progress in faculty recruitment, and continued efforts to advance equity, diversity, inclusion, and belonging through dedicated initiatives and community engagement. We also marked important transitions, including study leaves and retirements, and we are grateful for the lasting contributions of colleagues past and present.
We recognize that the holiday season can be a challenging time for some. Support resources remain available, and we encourage anyone who needs assistance to reach out.
As we look ahead to 2026, our commitment to fostering a diverse, inclusive, and equitable School remains steadfast. Together, we will continue to build a community where everyone can thrive.
Wishing you a restful and joyful winter break.
Warm regards,
Aslam Anis
