Rishi Chatterjee

Rishi Chatterjee (PMP MHA) serves as Program Manager and is responsible for managing day-to-day operations, administration, and funding of the of the UBC PHPM program.

Rishi is a management professional with 6+ years of combined experience in program and project management. His experiences focus specifically in the Canadian health system, including developing and delivering public health and research projects. Rishi holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University and he brings expertise in program and project management through certification as a Project Management Professional. Rishi has expanded his skills as a health leader having recently completed the Master of Health Administration program at UBC School of Population and Public Health.

Most recently, Rishi served as Project Manager for the opioid overdose response at First Nations Health Authority. He has led project teams in national research environments and practices as an independent consultant. He brings experience working with diverse groups of stakeholders including physicians, patients, health authority executives, Indigenous groups, and marginalized communities.

Rishi and his wife Jillian live on the traditional territories of the Coash Salish people in Vancouver. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, reading, spoiling his dog Khaliah, and training Brazilian jiu jitsu.
