A qualitative and mixed methodologist with an interdisciplinary background that spans gender studies, information science, and public health, Dr. Greyson’s research focuses on public health communication and the use of health-related information by publics, clinicians, and health systems.
Dr. Greyson has a special interest in improving alignment between community values and health information systems for communication and surveillance, with current work focusing on vaccine confidence, gender and health information, and mitigating the impacts of medical misinformation.
Recent work has evaluated pre-exposure mpox vaccination in Canada, sought to improve vaccine communication to young adults, and explored the ethical, legal and public health implications of the use of “immunization passports” (also known as Proof-of-Vaccination Credentials, or PVCs) in Canada.
