Certificate Programs
Outdoor Air Quality, Health and the Air Quality Health Index (AQHI)
Outdoor air pollution significantly impacts health, contributing to conditions such as impaired lung function, asthma exacerbation, and cardiovascular issues. To address this, the UBC School of Population and Public Health, with support from Health Canada, developed a free, on-demand course offering comprehensive insights into air pollution and its health effects, helping health professionals better advise patients on reducing exposure.

Tropical and Geographic Medicine
Tropical and Geographic Medicine is an online intensive short course for physicians, nurses, nurse practitioners, medical trainees, pharmacists, public health practitioners, and other healthcare professionals who intend to practice in the tropics, resource-limited settings, or who require an update on infectious, parasitic and other major tropical diseases.
