Marianne Boisvert-Moreau

Dr. Marianne Boisvert Moreau (she/her/hers) completed her residency training in Public Health and Preventive Medicine at Laval University in Quebec and obtained Royal College certification in 2023. She is currently pursuing further clinical training as a postgraduate (clinical fellow) at the University of British Columbia in 2023-2024 before returning to her home province to practice as a public health specialist.

Dr. Boisvert Moreau discovered her interest in infection control and health promotion during her residency training. These interests guided her decision to work both within the infectious diseases team and the health promotion and disease prevention team at a Regional Health Authority in Quebec City.

During her clinical fellowship at UBC, Dr. Boisvert Moreau will develop skills in public health policy, infectious disease outbreak investigation and management, and emergency preparedness.

Dr. Boisvert Moreau is the first author of two papers published in 2022 and 2023: doi: 10.1186/s12889-022-12917-3 ; doi: 10.1016/j.jfp.2023.100131

Dr. Boisvert Moreau is an outdoor enthusiast and enjoys mountain biking, hiking, ski touring, alpine skiing, sailing, and climbing. Dr. Boisvert Moreau and her partner are excited to live in British Columbia for a year and to discover all the province has to offer!
