Siu-Kae Yeong

Dr Siu-Kae Yeong is a Public Health and Preventive Medicine resident physician at the University of British Columbia (UBC).  She is passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of the population, both locally and globally, and has had experience working in Canada, Africa, Malaysia and China in various capacities. She has received degrees in Bachelor of Applied Science: Engineering Physics (Mechanical Engineering Option), Bachelor of Arts (English Literature major), Doctor of Medicine and Master of Public Health from UBC.  With a strong interest in innovative ways to improve healthcare and public health, she has been instrumental in starting initiatives as Co-Founder of the UBC Global Health Initiative and Co-Founder of the Peri-Operative Emergency Management course.
