Rishi Chatterjee

Rishi Chatterjee (PMP) has joined the PHPM team as the program’s first ever Program Manager. Rishi is responsible for managing day-to-day operations of the PHPM program and will support the Program Director in ongoing program development and expansion.

Rishi is a management professional with 6 years of experience developing and delivering public health and research projects. Rishi holds a Bachelor of Sciences in Health Sciences from Simon Fraser University and he brings expertise in program and project management through his formal training as a Project Management Professional. Most recently, Rishi served as Project Manager for the opioid overdose response at First Nations Health Authority. He has led project teams in national research environments and he has practiced as an independent consultant for nonprofit groups. He is currently serving as a Board Director for a local nonprofit and he brings experience working with diverse groups of stakeholders including physicians, patients, health authority executives, indigenous groups, and marginalized communities.

Rishi and his partner Jillian live on the traditional and unceded territories of the Coash Salish people in Vancouver. In his spare time, he enjoys writing, philosophy, taking care of his dog Khaliah, and training Brazilian Jiu jitsu.
