Seven faculty and one staff member receive Long Service awards

Seven School of Population and Public Health (SPPH) faculty members and one staff member have received Long Service awards.

The awards were read out at the April faculty meeting, where co-director Professor Chris Lovato congratulated the award winners for their years of service.

“We deeply appreciate your dedication to the School and to the University.”

Clinical Professor Brian Schmidt and Professor Emeritus Sam Sheps received their awards for 37 years at the University of British Columbia.

Professor Aslam Anis, Clinical Professor Ralph Brands and Human Early Learning Partnership statistical analyst Lisa Chen received their awards for 25 years at the university.

Professor Emeritus Gary Poole, Professor Steve Morgan, and Clinical Professor Rita Stern received their awards for 20 years at the university.

Congratulations to all the award winners!
