Career Paths

Upon graduation, students will have gained core knowledge and skills in epidemiological and biostatistical methods and research experience by applying these methods to a thesis under the supervision of a faculty member.

Our graduates have gone on to complete doctoral degrees, work as research consultants, ‎community nutritionists, research coordinators, epidemiologists, managers, research and data analysts, clinical assistant professors, research assistants, to found their own companies, and more.

Employers of our graduates include BC Emergency Health Services, Vancouver Coastal Health, UBC, Fraser Health, Health Canada, Hoffmann-La Roche Limited, Harvard University, National Collaborating Centre for Determinants of Health, and BC Centre for Disease Control, to name a few.
