1 All costs quoted in Canadian funds and are current as of the 2022 academic year. Program fees are for six instalments. Fees, including tuition based on year of entry, are approved by the Board of Governors following consultation with students and are subject to change. Continuing fees are assessed after instalment 6.

- All fees are payable in three instalments per year, at the beginning of September, January and May.
- Upon accepting an offer of admission to the program, a $500 (non-refundable and non-transferable) acceptance deposit in Canadian currency is required. This deposit will be credited towards your tuition.
In the event of a discrepancy in the information regarding tuition fees between the MPH and G+PS websites, it is advised to consider G+PS as the most relevant and updated source.
Financial Resources
Funding may be available to some students in the form of scholarships, bursaries, and student loans. The Faculty of Graduate Studies is responsible for merit-based graduate awards. Students who are paying full time fees are eligible to apply for student loans and can access information on needs-based funding through UBC Student Services.
Within the School, there are teaching and research assistant positions available along with internal awards adjudicated throughout the year.
