Craig Albert

Dr. Craig Albert (he/him/his) is a second-year PHPM resident, currently completing his clinical year at St Paul’s Hospital. He recently completed the Master of Public Health program at the University of British Columbia, and previously completed degrees in chemical engineering, psychology, medicine, and a Master of Business Administration at the University of Saskatchewan. He has strong interests in environmental and occupational health, the healthy built environment, and rural health equity.

Prior to medicine, he worked as a chemical engineer for the mining industry in Northern Manitoba and Ontario. And later completed his clerkship training in Northern Saskatchewan through the longitudinal integrated clerkship program. This gave him the opportunity to work closely with Northern rural and remote health issues.

Outside of work, he enjoys running, biking, hiking, and taking his dogs to the beach.
