With more exposure to a broader range of training experiences at regional health authorities and provincial agencies both within and outside of Vancouver and B.C.’s Lower Mainland, you will be immersed in diverse and in-depth clinical and public health practice.

Residents are chosen through a comprehensive selection process, which considers their academic record, personal letters, letters of reference, and interview performance. Successful candidates are expected to:

  • Demonstrate a profound understanding of PHPM
  • Describe how their clinical and non-clinical experiences have shaped their decision to pursue PHPM
  • Clearly articulate how PHPM specialty training will contribute to their potential future career paths
