Dr. Curtis May (he/him/his) is a public health and preventive medicine resident physician at UBC’s School of Population and Public Health, and is a family physician. He is interested in chronic pain, from both a public health and direct patient care perspective, and has been involved clinically treating individuals with pain as well as involved with provincial and federal organizations including Pain BC and the Chronic Pain Network to advocate for better chronic pain care. He is especially interested to work in areas related to non-communicable disease and health promotion, injury prevention, building healthy communities and the social and structural determinants of health.

In his spare time, he likes to be in forests, track and watch storms, eat cookies, and watch racoon videos.
