
Dr. Kevin Donak

Dr. Kevin Donak (he/him) is a settler of European descent and grew up on unceded Anishinaabe Algonquin territory (Ottawa). He is a fourth year re-entry resident in the Public Health and Preventative Medicine Program. He previously completed medical school and family medicine training at McMaster University, a Master of Business Administration at UBC and a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of Ottawa.
Kevin is a 14-year veteran of the Canadian Armed Forces, where he worked as both a soldier and family physician, always striving to provide compassionate and equitable care to all patients. He has a strong interest in health leadership, health promotion, health equity, occupational and environmental health, as well as mental health and substance use.
In his personal time, Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife Crystal and his two children Izzy and Evey. They love reading, swimming, playing board games, spending time outdoors, and going on family adventures. He has a passion for health and fitness, having completed the Ironman triathlon twice, and many other triathlons and endurance races.
