Leading the way in improving the health of communities

As a resident physician in our five-year postgraduate Public Health and Preventive Medicine (PHPM) Residency Program, you’ll build the skills required to understand the health needs of populations, and develop strategies for improving health and well-being through health promotion, disease prevention, and health protection.  This flagship post-graduate training program paves the way for the public health specialists and leaders of our future. Equipped with a broad base of knowledge and skills appropriate for diverse career paths, our graduates work as medical health officers, physician epidemiologists, researchers, and population-focused clinicians.
